Our Garden Produce for Missions table is up and running. Everyone is encouraged to donate produce and purchase produce with a goodwill donation. The donations will go towards our Mission Coins Ministry. Our mission for this quarter is Operation Elf~Santa's Workshop.
The Tenderloin Sunday falls on August 22nd this month. Everyone is encouraged to attend morning worship at 9:30am and then stay for a FREE Richvalley tenderloin sandwich, chips and drink as well as some great fellowship time. We're hoping to have 110 in attendance, so please tell a friend or two and come on over.
The Hot Pink Mamas are participating in the Walk for A Cure again this year. This year's event to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will take place in Tampa, FL on October 29, 30 & 31. As a fundraising effort, there will be an 18 Hole golf scramble on Sunday, September 19 at the Peru Municipal Golf Course at 1pm. $33 per person includes green fees and cart and you can sponsor a hole for only $25. There will be prizes for 1st and last place teams as well as door prizes and raffle items. For more information send us an email (rvumc@comcast.net).
Psalm 139:13-16 says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;.....All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
